How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Greys Specialist Recruitment are working on behalf of a leading events and media organisation to recruit a Marketing Executive to join their growing team.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work across a portfolio of large-scale, consumer exhibitions linked to a globally recognised lifestyle and design brand. These high-profile, biannual events attract thousands of visitors and bring together industry professionals, innovative brands, and engaged audiences.

    You’ll play a key role in delivering creative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive attendance, support exhibitors, and enhance the overall event experience.

    The Role

    Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you will work closely with marketing, sales, and content teams to execute engaging campaigns across a range of channels.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Supporting the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across media, PR, and direct channels

    * Writing and delivering targeted, high-performing email campaigns, analysing performance and optimising results

    * Managing and growing social media channels, creating engaging content and increasing audience engagement

    * Identifying and securing media and promotional partnerships to maximise campaign reach

    * Managing website content via CMS, ensuring accuracy and strong user experience

    * Working closely with sponsors and exhibitors to deliver marketing commitments to a high standard

    * Supporting the sales team with lead generation campaigns, exhibitor communications, and media packs

    * Assisting with onsite event activity, including press coordination, content capture, and competitions

    About You

    * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing role (events or exhibitions desirable)

    * Strong copywriting skills across email, web, and social channels

    * Experience using CMS platforms and email marketing tools

    * Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    * Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

    * A proactive mindset with a keen interest in events and live experiences
