How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:00pm (OT paid at time and a half, weekends double pay as stated)

Are you a skilled agricultural or mechanical technician who loves getting hands-on with machinery and helping others grow their skills? This is your chance to join a busy, modern workshop as a Workshop Technician - a role designed for someone who wants to stay on the tools, share their knowledge, and make a real impact.

    Why This Role Stands Out:

    Workshop-based
Work alongside a supportive team in a well-equipped, modern environment.
Mentor junior technicians and apprentices while keeping your hands on real machinery.
Excellent pay, generous overtime, and long-term career prospects.
    What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on agricultural machinery.
Hands-on work with diagnostics, hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical systems.
Mentoring and coaching workshop staff and apprentices.
Ensuring work meets high-quality standards and safety regulations.
Contributing to training plans and identifying skills gaps in the team.
    What We're Looking For:

Experienced agricultural or mechanical technician - someone with real hands-on skills.
Comfortable mentoring, sharing knowledge, and leading by example.
Confident with diagnostics, problem-solving, and workshop machinery.
Reliable, proactive, and passionate about high-quality work.
Willing to travel occasionally if required and flexible with training.
    Benefits:

Competitive salary + overtime paid generously.
4-day week possible with structured OT.
Supportive, family-oriented culture with long-term career development.
Modern workshop facilities and premium equipment.
31 days annual leave + enhanced sick pay and other perks.
If you're someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on workshop, enjoys mentoring, and wants to make a difference while working with great machinery, we want to hear from you!
