How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

From providing high quality integrated urgent care for over six million people, to thinking of innovative solutions for our patients – every role at IC24 is made to be brave.

Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a talent for managing detail in a fast‑paced environment? Do you enjoy supporting colleagues, solving problems, and keeping processes running smoothly? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for a talented People Coordinator to join our People & Culture Services Hub on a fixed‑term contract. This central team provides a wide range of people administration support across the full employee.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for candidates, colleagues, and managers, providing accurate information and excellent customer service. You’ll work closely with colleagues across People & Culture, Payroll, IT, Workforce Planning and other teams to keep everything running efficiently.

A “right‑first‑time” mindset is essential. You’ll need strong communication skills, excellent prioritisation, and the tenacity to see tasks through to completion. We’re looking for someone who is confident using systems, comfortable working with confidential information, and always looking for opportunities to improve what we do.

This role values collaboration, encourages an inclusive and supportive environment, and promotes building respectful relationships with colleagues and patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with different communication styles and ways of thinking.

Handling pay change requests and ensuring payroll deadlines are met

Managing e‑files, ID badges, eye‑care vouchers and team stock

Monitoring registrations, visa information and DBS renewals

Providing first‑line advice and signposting more complex queries

    Maintaining accurate colleague records

Managing queries relating to Learn24, HR systems and self‑service portals

    Producing ad‑hoc reports when required

    What we’re looking for

    Essential skills & experience

Experience in HR or people administration.

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel, email and HR systems

Highly organised, able to prioritise and work accurately under pressure

    High attention to detail

Able to work autonomously and within a team

Professional, discreet and confident handling confidential information

    Desirable

    CIPD Level 3 or equivalent

    Experience using HRIS/ATS

    Basic understanding of employment law

Experience within healthcare or NHS settings
