How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Deputy Manager - Care Services Provider

    Full Time | £28,000-£30,000 | Monday-Friday | On‑Call (Approx. 1 in 7 Weekends)

    Location: Nottinghamshire

    Are you an experienced care professional ready to step into a true management role where you can shape, lead and deliver outstanding community‑based care? We're supporting a well‑established care provider in recruiting a Deputy Manager who will oversee high‑quality, personalised support packages while supporting teams and the wider business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage your own packages of care ensuring safety, compliance, and person‑centred delivery.
    Deputise for the Branch Manager including full branch cover as required.
    Build effective relationships with external MDT stakeholders.
    Support field staff, administrators, and recruitment teams.
    Visit clients and resolve care‑related concerns.
    Contribute to recruitment, investigations, and performance management.
    Support growth through service development and external engagement.
    Promote a positive and motivated team culture.

    As our ideal candidate, you will have

    Managerial or supervisory care business experience (beyond Support Worker / basic Team Leader level).
    Experience could come from domiciliary care, care agencies, or supported living environments as a suggestion, however must be from the office side, not practical.
    Strong MDT partnership experience
    Ability to manage caseloads independently.
    Self‑motivated and proactive, with strong organisational skills.
    Excellent communicator with strong problem‑solving skills.

    Working Pattern & Salary:

    Full‑time in the office Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
    Office‑based with regular client visits.
    Participation in on‑call rota (approx. 1 in 7 weekends).
    Salary £28,000-£30,000.
