How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong eye for detail who can ensure products meet required quality standards while supporting the wider production process.

    Key Responsibilities

    Carry out visual inspections of finished and in-process products to ensure they meet quality standards
    Identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities and take appropriate action
    Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
    Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real-time
    Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment
    Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and health & safety standards
    Assist with basic measurements and checks using standard inspection tools where required
    Key Requirements

    Previous experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment (preferred)
    Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly and accurately
    Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production teams
    Ability to follow processes, procedures, and quality standards
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
    Basic understanding of quality control principles is advantageous
