How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant / Practice Head Accountancy & Executive Search

    Location: Leicestershire East Midlands
    Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 basic + benefits + progression

    Overview

    A high‑growth recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant, Senior Recruitment Consultant or Practice Head to join its expanding Leicestershire office. This role is suitable for both a driven Recruitment Consultant ready to progress and an experienced Practice Head looking to lead a team of Recruitment Consultants within Accountancy & Finance and Professional Search.

    The Company

    This well‑established consultancy specialises in Accountancy & Finance, Professional Services and Commercial recruitment. Following strong growth , the business is now investing in the East Midlands region and requires an ambitious Recruitment Consultant or Practice Head to support and develop the local team. The position includes the opportunity to lead and mentor Recruitment Consultants while helping drive regional strategy.

    The Role

    Suitable for a high‑performing Recruitment Consultant seeking clear career progression or a Practice Head already experienced in leading Recruitment Consultants. Responsibilities include:

    * Managing and growing a portfolio of Accountancy & Finance clients

    * Developing new business across the East Midlands

    * Delivering full 360 recruitment consultant duties

    * Leading, coaching and developing a team of Recruitment Consultants (for Practice Head level)

    * Supporting growth plans and contributing to strategy and performance

    * Building long‑term client and candidate relationships

    Experience

    To succeed in this Recruitment Consultant or Practice Head role, you will bring:

    * Experience as a Recruitment Consultant (Accountancy sector preferred but not essential)

    * Strong business development and relationship‑building skills

    * A results‑driven, resilient and commercial approach

    * Leadership experience or the ambition to progress into managing Recruitment Consultants

    * The drive to build and grow a successful Leicester practice

    Whether you are an established Recruitment Consultant or already leading teams, this role offers a clear pathway for progression.
