How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)

    Locations: Marble Arch, Tottenham Court Road & Hammersmith (London)
    Salary: £45,000 + Call-Out + Overtime + Company Van & Fuel Card

    We are currently seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias) to join our team, covering three key commercial sites across Central and West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and adaptable engineer looking for a stable role with a structured portfolio.

    Role Overview

    Covering three sites only: Marble Arch, Tottenham Court Road, and Hammersmith
    Mobile role with a consistent and manageable patch
    Working across a commercial contract environmentKey Responsibilities

    Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
    Diagnosing and repairing electrical and/or mechanical faults
    Supporting general building services maintenance
    Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
    Liaising with site teams and subcontractors where required
    Maintaining accurate records and job updatesRequirements

    Level 2 qualification minimum (Electrical or Mechanical)
    Level 3 qualification desirable
    Experience in commercial building maintenance
    Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
    Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
    Full UK driving licenceCall-Out & Overtime

    Call-out rota: 1 in 6
    £125 standby payment
