How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Sales and Market Intelligence Manager

    Role Purpose

    To strengthen commercial performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting market, competitor, and customer data. The role supports sales strategy, improves forecasting accuracy and provides insights that guide decision‑making across sales, marketing and product teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Collect and analyse data on competitors, pricing, customer behaviour and industry trends.

    * Develop and maintain a market intelligence database for internal stakeholders.

    * Prepare regular research reports summarising market movements and potential risks or opportunities.

    * Conduct public and secondary research to support strategic planning.

    * Monitor and report on sales performance, highlighting variances, trends and improvement opportunities.

    * Support sales forecasting by reconciling data from multiple sources.

    * Provide insights that help refine pricing, market positioning and sales outreach.

    * Produce strategic presentations for internal sales meetings and customer‑facing sessions.

    * Build competitor profiles including product offerings, pricing approaches, market presence, and strategic activities.

    * Monitor competitor promotions and market shifts to inform commercial planning.

    * Create comparison reports and intelligence summaries for internal teams.

    * Produce executive‑ready presentations with clear visual storytelling.

    * Translate complex data into understandable insights for non‑technical audiences.

    * Prepare regular dashboards highlighting market dynamics, opportunities and risks.

    * Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure insights support business priorities.

    * Contribute market input to product development decisions.

    * Collaborate with external research providers when specialised data is required.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Essential

    * Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets.

    * Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.

    * Strong PowerPoint ability for creating clear, visually compelling presentations.

    * Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking strengths.

    * Degree in a relevant discipline such as marketing, business, economics, engineering, finance or statistics.

    * Ability to interpret multiple sources of information with accuracy and clarity.

    Desirable

    * Experience working with sales teams or supporting commercial decision‑making.

    * Familiarity with competitive intelligence methodologies.

    * Experience creating or maintaining reporting frameworks for senior leadership.

    Personal Attributes

    * Confident communicator who can challenge assumptions using evidence.

    * Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines.

    * Curious, detail‑focused, and proactive in identifying risks or opportunities
