We are recruiting for an experienced Frame Maker / Joiner to join a busy production team. The role involves constructing wooden frames ready for upholstery, working from job sheets, and ensuring all products meet required standards.
This is a hands-on role within a well-organised factory environment.
Details
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (overtime available)
* Pay: £14–£15 per hour (depending on experience)
* Start: Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricating and assembling wooden frames
* Working with a range of materials including hardwood and softwood
* Using hand tools and woodworking machinery safely
* Following job sheets to meet production targets
* Ensuring all products are built accurately and to a high standard
* Supporting with general production duties when required
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in joinery, frame making or furniture production
* Good attention to detail while working at pace
* Confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools
* Ability to read and follow job sheets
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
* Able to work well within a team
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial
