School Premises Officer

Full-time | Temporary | Immediate Start

I am working with a school in Nottingham that is seeking a proactive and reliable Premises Officer on a temporary, full-time basis.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Keeping the school clean, safe and well-trained through basic repairs, site checks and general upkeep
Opening and securing the building, including setting and unsetting alarms
Monitoring cleaning standards and supporting the cleaning team where needed
Carrying out routine safety checks and completing simple maintenance records
Managing stock, ordering supplies and ensuring equipment is stored safely
Supporting with lettings, events and day‑to‑day site operations
Liaising with external contractors and assisting with small on‑site projects
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Previous school‑based experience in a premises, caretaking or maintenance role
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Someone organised, dependable and able to work safely at all times
Good level of literacy and numeracy
A calm, reliable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
