Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
* Support pupils’ learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
* Assist teachers with the delivery of adapted and differentiated lessons
* Support pupils with routines, transitions, and positive behaviour strategies
* Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
* Work closely with teaching staff, SEND teams, and pastoral staff
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:
* Experience working in a UK school or youth work setting within the last 3 years
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* Patient, calm, and consistent approach
* Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
* Flexible and reliable, with the ability to adapt to different needs
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
