Hours: Monday–Friday 08:15–17:15, plus some Saturdays (shift system)
Hourly Rate: £16–£18 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
Our client is partnering with a leading windscreen replacement service to deliver expert remote support for advanced driver assistance systems. As a Remote Technical Support Specialist, you will help ensure vehicle forward-facing cameras are correctly calibrated after windscreen replacement. Your work enables systems like lane-keeping assist, speed sign recognition, and emergency braking to function safely.
This is a computer-based, remote role—you do not need to be a qualified vehicle technician. A general interest or basic understanding of vehicles is helpful, but your main focus will be providing technical and customer support via remote connection tools.
Key Responsibilities
Connect remotely to vehicles using specialist tooling to perform ADAS camera calibration
Provide high-quality support to customers and service agents
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure proper system configuration
Document cases and update ticketing systems accurately
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient workflow and resolve complex problems
What We’re Looking For
Previous customer-facing experience (customer support experience desirable)
Experience in technical support or IT service roles (highly desirable)
Familiarity with remote support tools such as TeamViewer or equivalent (highly desirable)
Experience using ticketing systems or live chat to manage support requests (highly desirable)
Strong communication skills and a professional, solution-focused approach
General interest in automotive technology is beneficial
