Overview / Key Responsibilities
Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair and modify commercial trailers and related components.
Carry out structural repairs, including floor replacements, curtain side repairs, and pelmet renewals.
Repair and install curtain sides, roller shutters, and rear barn doors.
Conduct fibreglass and filler work to maintain and restore vehicle body integrity.
Diagnose and resolve a wide range of trailer issues across a diverse fleet.
Ensure all work is completed safely and meets high-quality standards.
Collaborate with other technicians to maintain an efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.Requirements
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator or Trailer Body Shop Technician.
Experience working on commercial trailers, including curtain sides, roller shutters, and structural repairs.
Skilled in welding, fabrication, fibreglass, and filler work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Salary & Benefits
Pay: £16-17 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:30, with optional overtime and Saturday rota.
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays
