How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a key strategic appointment and forms part of the company’s long-term succession planning. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a senior leadership role within a respected and well-established mechanical services business operating in challenging industrial environments.

This position would suit an experienced professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is looking to progress into a pivotal role within a small senior team.

    The Role:

    · Assisting with partial design and technical input

    · Client liaison and attendance at site meetings

    · Planning and coordinating installation works

    · Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

    · Supporting commercial close-out and final account processes

Although the role is primarily focused on estimation, planning and project oversight, a strong practical background in mechanical pipework installation is essential.

    About You

    You will:

    · Have proven experience in industrial/commercial mechanical pipework installations

    · Possess strong practical knowledge of installation methods and site practices

    · Be confident discussing installation and design solutions directly with clients

    · Be commercially aware and comfortable managing project budgets

    · Be self-sufficient, organised and capable of working independently

    · Be ambitious and motivated to grow into a senior leadership position

    What the client offers:

    · A genuine opportunity to progress into a senior role

    · Involvement in varied and technically challenging projects

    · A supportive, close-knit team environment

    · Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)

    · Car allowance

If you are looking for a long-term opportunity where your experience and ambition will be recognised and developed, we would welcome your application
