This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanical maintenance, compliance, and project support within building services or facilities environments.
Duties will include:
* Supporting the delivery of mechanical maintenance and compliance programmes
* Assisting with planning and coordination of mechanical projects
* Carrying out site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments
* Monitoring contractors and ensuring work is completed to the required standards
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety and statutory regulations
* Supporting water hygiene and legionella control programmes
* Maintaining accurate documentation and records
* Assisting with reporting, budgeting, and project administration
Requirements:
* HNC, HND or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
* Experience delivering mechanical maintenance or project work
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM and compliance standards
* Experience working with contractors or managing works
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
* Experience with Legionella or water hygiene control
* Experience within the public sector or multi-site environments
* Health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH
Location: Argyll and Bute (hybrid role with travel across multiple sites)
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Approx. 6 months
Rate: Up to £24.33 per hour
