Our client is a thriving e-commerce business based in Heywood, renowned for its dedication to delivering excellent service to customers. We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to join the dynamic team at our distribution centre.
Responsibilities:
Handling inbound deliveries with care and efficiency
Using RF scanners for inventory tracking and management
Sorting and placing items onto shelves accurately
Verifying stock quantities against paperwork to maintain inventory accuracy
Picking and packing orders correctly according to provided picklists
Always adhering to health and safety procedures
Reporting any issues or discrepancies promptly to the line manager
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Ability to work efficiently using your own initiative
Strong team player with a proactive approach
High performance in a fast-paced environment
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Resilient and positive in challenging situations
Flexible and committed to meeting tight deadlines
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances
Excellent communication skills
Working Hours:
Must be available to work any 5 days out of 6
The working week begins on Sunday
Safety Requirements:
Safety shoes and hi-vis must be worn at all times during working hours
