How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Regional HR Business Partner | South Region | Retail, Hospitality, Leisure | up to £65K + car

    Field-based | Extensive Travel Required

**2 days a week you will be based in Farnham**

Are you a hands-on HR Business Partner who thrives in fast-paced, people-driven environments? Do you enjoy being out in the business, building relationships, coaching leaders and making a visible impact where it matters most?

We’re partnering with a dynamic, growing organisation to recruit a Regional HR Business Partner supporting multiple high-energy sites across the South, including Bournemouth, Farnham, Eastleigh, Gosport and surrounding areas.

This is not a desk-based role. It’s a true business partnering position, working closely with operational leaders in environments that are busy, varied and often unpredictable. From family-friendly venues to high-energy, adult-focused experiences, no two sites or days are the same.

You’ll act as a trusted partner to General Managers and their teams, supporting them through the realities of running demanding, people-heavy operations.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Partnering with GMs and leadership teams to build capability, confidence and consistency
    • Coaching and developing managers at all levels, from new leaders to experienced operators
    • Supporting across the full HR spectrum including employee relations, performance, engagement, culture and talent
    • Acting as the go-to for complex, real-world people challenges in fast-moving environments
    • Embedding values, leadership behaviours and people frameworks across the region
    • Working closely with senior stakeholders, enabling them to stay focused on strategic priorities
    • Navigating high-volume, operational sites where peak activity runs into evenings
    • Supporting environments with diverse teams and varying workplace cultures
    • Engaging with third-party HR providers where required
    • Contributing to areas requiring sound judgement, including safeguarding considerations

    About You

    • Experience in retail, hospitality, leisure or similar high-volume, multi-site environments
    • A natural coach who enjoys developing others, particularly emerging leaders
    • Comfortable working in operational, sometimes challenging environments
    • Approachable, pragmatic and solutions-focused in your HR style
    • Able to balance commercial awareness with a strong people focus
    • Energised by being on site, building relationships and influencing in real time
    • Resilient, adaptable and able to navigate pace and ambiguity
    • Willing and able to travel extensively across the region

    Why Join

This is a business with real energy and momentum. The culture is inclusive, fast-moving and people-focused, where HR is valued as a true partner to the operation. You’ll have the opportunity to shape leadership capability, influence culture and make a tangible difference across multiple sites.
