How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Production Supervisor


    Are you an experienced manufacturing supervisor with a talent for leading teams and a passion for driving continuous improvement?


    Our client is a forward-thinking infrastructure solutions company is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, lead a dedicated team and drive continuous improvement.


    As Production Supervisor, you'll oversee the build and delivery of electrical system products to required quality standards. You'll manage the production cell work centre, drive performance against defined KPIs and take a leading role in promoting a safe and healthy working environment. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on manufacturing excellence whilst developing your team and driving operational improvements that directly contribute to the company's success.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and guide the manufacturing team to ensure the timely build and delivery of products to the highest quality standards.
    • Coach and support team members, identifying training needs, conducting performance reviews and managing recruitment.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting and leading the use of lean tools.
    • Run daily team meetings to communicate priorities and collaborate with other departments to optimise operations.
    • Initiate and manage projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and efficiency.
    • Promote a safe and healthy working environment across the production area.
    • Act as deputy for the Production Manager when required, ready to lead the department.


    Who They’re Looking For

    • Proven experience in supervising a team within a manufacturing environment.
    • A strong understanding of material management, production planning, and ERP software such as SAP.
    • In-depth knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement operational changes and lead improvement projects.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels of the organisation.
    • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • A firm commitment to promoting health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
