Air & Ocean Import Operator – Grays, Essex

A well-established freight forwarder in Grays is looking for an experienced Air & Ocean Import Operator to handle full start-to-finish shipments, including customs entries, within a busy and professional operations team.

The Role:
- End-to-end management of air & ocean import shipments
- Customs entries via CDS
- Liaising with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and customers
- Shipment tracking and proactive updates
- Resolving delays, discrepancies, and customs queries
- Job costing and invoicing
Requirements:
- Experience in air and/or ocean imports
- Confident completing customs entries
- Strong understanding of UK customs procedures
- Able to manage shipments end-to-end
