How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SEN Teacher – Kidderminster (DY4)

    Location: Kidderminster, DY4

    Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to work with several of our specialist education partners in the Kidderminster (DY4) area.

    About the Role

    You will be delivering high‑quality teaching and learning to children and young people aged 4–19 with a wide range of SEND needs (mild to severe), including:

    Autism (ASD)
    Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
    Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
    You will work closely with support staff and leadership teams to create an engaging, inclusive, and adaptive learning environment that meets a variety of educational and sensory needs.

    Requirements

    Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Must have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
    Willing to complete a DBS check if required
    Able to provide two references or more (should cover the last 24 months) 
    Proof of right to work in the UK

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
    Adapt resources and activities to support varied abilities and EHCP targets
    Foster communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence
    Implement and review support plans and behaviour strategies
    Use visual supports, sensory tools, and alternative communication systems
    Create a calm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
    Lead small‑group or whole‑class teaching as required
    Track and record pupil progress, sharing insights with the wider team
    Support pupils during transitions, break times, and off‑site activities
