Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Ash, Surrey

Salary: NJC - SCP 19-24 (£32,061-£35,412), out of London Fringe (£729) (salary depending upon skills and experience)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: Working 37 hours - Monday to Friday 08.00 till 16:00 (½ hour lunch break and ½ flex time). Overtime shifts may also be available. A valid UK driving licence is required to drive Parish vehicles around sites.

The Role:

We have an opportunity for a full time Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to manage the staff of a small but busy grounds maintenance team within the Parish of Ash.

This is an opportunity to help maintain parks and open spaces, sport pitch preparation, building maintenance, cemetery maintenance, public toilet maintenance, security contact and producing and maintaining all relevant paperwork.

You will need:

A degree of physical fitness and an aptitude for working indoors, outdoors
A desire to learn on the job
Knowledge and experience of team leadership, IT, horticulture, manual handling and working on highways is essential in this roleIn return we offer:
