How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled and experienced Bodyshop Office Manager.

    This Bodyshop Office Manager position is based within a busy and well-established bodyshop in Park Royal, North West London, offering a unique opportunity for a driven professional seeking to advance their career in the motor trade industry. The ideal individual will demonstrate excellent organisational and leadership skills, with a proven track record in automotive administration or management.

    Benefits:

    Competitive basic salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
    Performance-based bonuses available after three months, with an OTE of up to £50,000 including bonuses
    Working hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, with no weekend work

    Clear progression pathways, reporting directly to the General ManagerDuties of the Bodyshop Office Manager:

    Managing the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop office, including overseeing reception and administrative processes
    Supervising a team of four staff members, including transport and customer service advisors
    Providing hands-on support within the bodyshop environment to ensure smooth daily operations
    Ensuring excellent customer service standards and positive customer interactions
    Maintaining efficient administrative workflows and documentation as a Bodyshop Office Manager
    Reporting directly to the General Manager to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency
    Advising customers on services, repairs, and vehicle status updates
    Supervising scheduling, transport arrangements, and internal communicationRequirements:

    Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar supervisory position within the motor trade industry
    Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage team performance and operational tasks
    Excellent communication and customer service skills
    Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
    Hands-on approach with a professional and proactive demeanour
