The School
A high-performing and well-resourced primary school in the Canary Wharf area of Tower Hamlets is seeking a skilled Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The school has a strong academic focus, with clear systems in place to support pupil progress across the curriculum. Teaching is supported by shared planning frameworks, centralised resources, and additional adults in the classroom to ensure pupils receive targeted support where needed.

The Role
The successful Primary Teacher will take on a Year 4 class, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while supporting pupils as they build independence and prepare for Upper KS2.
This position is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent role.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering structured and engaging lessons
Supporting pupils' development in reading, writing and maths
Using assessment data to inform teaching and close gaps
Establishing clear routines and maintaining high expectations
Working closely with the year group partner and support staff
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
Holds QTS and has recent experience teaching in KS2
Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisation
Has secure subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
Is proactive, reflective and committed to pupil progress
Works effectively as part of a collaborative teamTeachers with experience in Lower KS2 are particularly encouraged to apply, although strong candidates from other key stages will be considered.
