Ideally the successful candidate with have credit control experience with a large ledger, they will also consider training a candidate in their credit control procedures as long as they have a good understanding of the credit function gained through a high-volume, call-based customer service role.
Key responsibilities
* Managing allocated sections of the sales ledger as part of a team
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
* Chasing outstanding debt to maximise cashflow and reduce overdue balances in line with targets
* Working closely with internal departments to resolve account queries and discrepancies
* Allocating customer payments accurately
* Maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer account information
* Supporting the wider team and undertaking additional duties as required
What we’re looking for
* Credit control experience from a large ledger
* Alternatively, strong customer service experience in a high-volume call environment with exposure to credit processes
* Seeking a candidate with a proven track record of stability and longevity in previous roles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer focus with a drive to deliver high service standards
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Well organised, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
* Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn bespoke systems quickly
Salary is dependent on experience 28k - 30k.
Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. This is an office based role.
23 days + Birthday holiday (holidays increase with service to 25 days)
