Hours: Monday - Thursday
An opportunity has arisen for a MIG & TIG Welder for our client, based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
As the MIG & TIG Welder your duties will include:
* Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
* Set up welding equipment, select appropriate materials, and adjust welding parameters
* Fabricate, fit, and weld parts and assemblies to specification
* Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance
* Grind, finish, and repair welds as required
* Maintain welding equipment and tools
An ideal candidate for the MIG & TIG Welder will have:
* Proven experience in fabrication and welding
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
* Knowledge of working with different metals such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
