In this role you will be working as a Recycling Picking Operative sorting through commercial recycled waste so a willingness to work within a refuse environment with the need to be flexible is key.
Monday to Friday 07:00-17:00
Currently pay is £12.71 per hour (1 hour is deducted for breaks daily)
Duties:
To remove waste products from the designated waste collection areas when required - Must be aware of large machinery
To manually transfer waste materials
Recycle any product identified as recyclable on the picking line - This work can be dusty
Working outside in yard although covered has open sides.- Please dress sensibly for the weather conditions
Good attention for own H&S and others - Due to closeness of moving machinery & busy environment
Manual Handling
To ensure that all instances of client query or dissatisfaction are escalated to your management Team
Work as part of the team or work self-supervised during your day.
Due to location own transport is essential
Must wear Hi Vis & safety boots
This work is in a dusty environment
