Salary £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
A busy industrial electrical manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Wire Person / Panel Builder to build complex control panels. The company supply a variety of fully equipped control panels, relay panels and equipment racks to the electricity supply & other various industries in the UK and overseas. The ideal candidate will have wiring experience or have an aptitude for engineering using hand tools. Duties
Working from engineering drawings
Mechanical fitting & wiring of varying panel sizes from 600cm to 3 meters
Wiring looms/cable harness and relays
Experience
Good wiring skills are preferable however some training can be given
Control panel or cable assembly experience an advantage
Must be able to lift heavy weights
Industrial background would be advantageous
Candidates must have some experience of using hand tools
Benefits
Hours of work: 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday with 1/2 hour lunch and 07.30 - 12.30 Friday.
20 days holiday rising to 25 days with service + bank holidays
