My client provides specialist production services to manufacturing industry - they are looking for a production supervisor with production supervision, production management or team leader skills to lead a team in the production of high quality components for the aerospace industry in a semi-automated production environment.
This would suit someone with experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment with good technical skills and experience of working to high quality standards.
You will deliver to production schedules and communicate effectively across shifts, ensuring high standards of health and safety are maintained. Occasional shift cover will be required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Production supervision or team leadership in a technical production environment in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Organising teams, rotas, overtime and shift cover to meet production targets.
- Ensuring compliance to standard operating procedures (SOP's).
- Conducting quality inspections, maintaining quality standards and documentation and reporting on quality - ISO systems experience necessary.
- Following production and maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring high standards of health and safety.
- Must be willing to undertake training
Also desirable would be:
- Experience of working to aerospace standards.
- Engineering background.
- First Aid and Fire Marshal training.
