Role of a Teaching Assistant:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, support students' learning needs, and help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also provide 1:1 support for students and work with small groups to boost their confidence and academic progress.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons in a variety of subjects.
Provide individual and small group support to students.
Help to create a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere.
Support students with their learning and development, adapting tasks as necessary.
Help with classroom management and ensure all students are on task.
Promote inclusive teaching methods and encourage participation from all students.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and classroom environments.
A team player with a proactive attitude.
A commitment to supporting the learning needs of all students, particularly those with additional needs.
