How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    HR Advisor
    We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join one of the largest registered autism specific charities in the East Midlands who wants to have a positive impact on people’s lives. The role is fast paced and ever changing.
    We are seeking a dynamic, engaging and personable individual to play a key role in providing a high-quality generalist HR support service to our managers and employees.
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Professional who thrives in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
    Based at Worksop, and reporting to the HR Manager, you will be the first point of call for HR queries and provide advice on employee relation matters, to Managers and Senior Managers to help them resolve their cases and to assist in internal investigations.
    You will make regular face to face visits to the managers in our services to assist in embedding a positive HR culture across the organisation.
    Taking ownership of processes such as absence management will allow the individual to grow within the role and progress within the department.
    You will be educated to Level 5 CIPD (or have relevant experience) and have an up to date understanding and application of employment related legislation and HR practices.
    Key responsibilities
    To lead investigations into conduct, capability and grievance matters.
    To lead on absence management ensuring policies are followed, providing data and information to HR Manager in support of absence management activity.
    Being responsible for reviewing contracts and change in circumstances letters produced by the HR Administrator.
    Generating management information and reports using the HR system reporting tools as required and directed by the HR Lead.
    Design and deliver HR related training and learning tools for managers and colleagues.
    Undertake activity that supports continued professional development, learning and improved ways of working individually and for the HR department as a whole.
