How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for an experienced permanent LGV Tanker Driver Class 2 to join the team of one of our prestigious clients based in the Hounslow area.

    The Role:
    As an LGV Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times. You will be required to complete deliveries and collections across various locations, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.

    Key Duties include:

    Driving and operating LGV tankers in line with company policies and legislation.
    Carrying out daily vehicle checks, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a safe and legal standard.
    Complete any required manual tachograph entries.
    Ensure delivery is made to the correct location, on time and in full.
    Completing all required documentation and delivery notes.
    Adhering to all health & safety and road transport regulations.
    Delivering outstanding service to customers and representing the company professionally at all times.The Ideal Candidate:

    Full understanding of Tacho regulations and Working Time Directive.
    Full understanding of the Highway code and the main rules of the road traffic act.
    Knowledge or experience of operating rigid fuel tankers - preferred, training will be provided.
    Valid UK Driving Licence - Class 2 - HGV
    CPC and Digi Tacho card (essential).
    ADR certification covering Class 3 & Tanks
    Previous experience operating tankers is essential.
    Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
    Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - shift patterns will be discussed at interview stage.
