The Role of an English Teacher:
Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Support students in developing literacy skills, confidence, and a love of English
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies that support student progress and wellbeing
The Ideal English Teacher Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching English in a secondary setting
Be able to inspire and engage pupils of all abilities
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to making a positive impact on students’ learning
