Vehicle Damage Assessor

kolt recruitment are looking for a VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) for a busy and well-established accident repair centre based in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VDA to join a fast-paced bodyshop environment, where accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication with insurers and customers are essential to success.
Key responsibilities:

* Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce repair estimates using Audatex or similar systems

* Liaise with insurance companies, engineers, and customers throughout the repair process

* Identify additional damage and update estimates accordingly

* Ensure all repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer and industry standards

* Work closely with the workshop and parts department to ensure smooth workflow

* Maintain high levels of customer service and communication

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a VDA / Estimator within an accident repair centre

* Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and estimating systems (Audatex preferred)

* ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Full UK driving licence
