Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Plans (QMPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
* Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
* Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure adherence to procedures
* Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation
* Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective/preventive actions
* Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders on quality-related matters
* Ensure all works comply with relevant rail and civil engineering standards
* Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within civil engineering or rail projects
* PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification – essential
* Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems and processes
* Experience with ISO 9001 and quality auditing
* Familiarity with rail industry standards and procedures
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Salary description
£250.00 - £300.00 per day
