Our manufacturing client based in Southampton are looking for a Soldering Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities.
* Electronic / mechanical assembly of new products, which includes the soldering of gauge wires, fitting of amplifiers / electronics.
* To complete strain gauging on new products
* Work to IPC 610 standards (if not qualified then an option to once started)
* Complete all paperwork associated with new product builds
Ideal Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience in PCB Assembly and Soldering to IPC610 standards. Strain Gauging training will be provided although previous knowledge or ability would be highly desirable.
IPC 610 soldering qualifications would be a distinct advantage but training and the course will be provided.
Salary: For extensive soldering experience £28K - £35K
(The higher end of the banding will be someone who is also competent in Strain Gauging)
* 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
