How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This HSE Supervisor position offers long-term project continuity, beginning at Hinkley Point and progressing onto future secured programmes. The HSE Supervisor will play a key role supporting safe project delivery across complex engineering operations. This HSE Supervisor role suits someone confident on site, comfortable engaging with operational teams, and focused on maintaining high standards. As an HSE Supervisor, you will contribute directly to safety performance across nationally significant infrastructure projects.

    About the Company

An established UK engineering and logistics specialist supporting complex infrastructure and heavy installation projects across highly regulated sectors. The organisation delivers integrated engineering and project solutions and maintains a strong focus on safety, collaboration, and long-term project delivery.

    Why Join Them

This role offers genuine long-term stability, with secured project work already planned beyond the initial Hinkley Point assignment. You will be part of a consistent delivery team moving from one major infrastructure project to the next, providing continuity of employment rather than short-term project engagement. The working environment is structured and supportive, with safety embedded into operational decision-making and clear opportunities to develop within an experienced HSE function.

    About the Role

The HSE Supervisor will provide day-to-day health, safety and environmental support across project activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, internal management systems, and client requirements.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Acting as the primary HSE contact for project teams on site

    * Monitoring compliance with HSE management systems and identifying improvement areas

    * Supporting safe delivery of heavy lifting and engineering activities

    * Assisting with risk assessments and method statements to ensure practical site application

    * Carrying out site inspections, audits, and compliance checks

    * Supporting incident reporting and investigations, including corrective actions

    * Analysing safety trends and advising operational management on improvements

    * Coaching site teams on HSE standards and best practice

    * Maintaining accurate HSE documentation and reporting data

    * Supporting environmental compliance and standards maintenance

    * Working collaboratively with clients and regulatory stakeholders where required

    * Promoting a proactive and approachable safety culture across site operations

    * Leading by example through active site engagement

The role requires strong site presence, working closely with operational teams to ensure safe coordination of activities and consistent application of safety procedures across each project lifecycle.

    Summary

This is a stable, long-term HSE Supervisor position supporting nationally significant infrastructure projects, starting at Hinkley Point and progressing onto future developments including Sizewell C. The role offers continuity of work, professional support, and the opportunity to build experience across some of the UK’s most complex engineering environments.
