How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you a Warehouse Operative looking for stability, guaranteed hours, and excellent pay?

    We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a growing and successful operation in Haydock (WA11).

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative seeking long-term work, immediate starts, and a potential temp-to-perm position.

    Shifts Available for Warehouse Operative:

    Rotating shifts – 5 days out of 7
    Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

    Week 2: 2:00 PM – 6:00 AM

    Pay Rates – Warehouse Operative
    Weekday Rates:

    • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM: £12.81 per hour

    • 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM: £14.72 per hour

    • 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM: £16.02 per hour

    Weekend Rates:

    •6:00 AM – 6:00 PM: £15.37 per hour

    •6:00 PM – 12:00 AM: £17.29 per hour

    •12:00 AM – 6:00 AM: £18.57 per hour

    What you will be doing as a Warehouse Operative:

    As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

    Operating MHE (LLOP / PPT / Reach Truck)
    Order picking and scanning labels
    Collecting orders accurately
    Wrapping and stacking finished pallets
    General warehouse operative duties

    Triple pay on Bank Holidays
    Weekly performance bonus (based on pick rate)
    Overtime paid at x1.5
     Performance bonus up to £2.24 per hour

    Requirements for the Warehouse Operative role:

    Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative
    Experience in order picking and operating LLOP trucks
    Reach Truck licence beneficial but not essential
    Positive attitude and willingness to learn
    Excellent attendance and timekeeping
    Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test as part of the pre-employment process
