Agency Social Worker - Cafcass - Bristol & Surrounding

Caritas Recruitment is supporting Cafcass with three temporary Family Court Adviser (FCA) vacancies within the Public & Private Law Team, covering Bristol, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
Role Overview:
The role involves early safeguarding enquiries, direct work with children, multi‑agency liaison, and preparing detailed, analytical reports for the Family Court regarding children's welfare and best interests. Court experience is essential.
Key Information:
£37.75 per hour
37 hours per week
Assignment runs to 31st June 2026
Monthly office day + weekly virtual meetings
Induction partly remote, partly office‑basedEssential Criteria:
SWE Registered Social Worker
Enhanced DBS within 12 months
Social Work qualification
Full driving licence
UK Right to Work only (no sponsorship)Desirable Criteria:
3+ years PQE
Experience in safeguarding, court work, and complex family assessments
