How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)
    📍 Ealing
    💼 Full-Time | Permanent
    💰 Up to £34,000 + £4,800 Car Allowance + Fully Expensed Fuel Card

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established and highly respected property services company, with whom we are working exclusively. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a long-term contract delivering essential Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works on behalf of LB of Ealing.

    The Role

    As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key point of contact between residents and the site team, ensuring that all communication is clear, consistent, and supportive throughout the lifecycle of planned works. You will play a vital role in maintaining resident satisfaction while works are carried out in occupied homes.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Act as the main liaison between residents, clients, and site teams

    * Provide clear communication regarding upcoming works, timelines, and any disruptions

    * Arrange and attend resident consultations, meetings, and property visits

    * Handle resident queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently

    * Support vulnerable residents and ensure their needs are considered throughout the project

    * Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions

    * Work closely with site managers and project teams to ensure smooth delivery

    About the Project

    You will be working on the LB of Ealing contract, delivering energy efficiency improvements as part of the SHDF programme, helping to improve homes and reduce carbon emissions across the housing stock.

    Requirements

    * Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role within social housing or construction

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    * Ability to manage difficult situations with empathy and professionalism

    * Full UK driving licence (essential) and car

    * Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
