Development Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Development Engineer to join a vibrant and British owned bespoke furniture manufacturer, based in Somerset. A role offering professional growth alongside personal well-being.

As a Development Engineer, you will be pivotal in creating and developing new products from concept to completion.

This position is ideally suited to a Development Engineer looking to take the next step in their career and who can bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to every task, while driving lean production and engineering improvements.

Required Development Engineer Experience:

* Autodesk Suite proficiency, 2D and 3D CAD expertise
* Product, Mechanical or related field Degree
* 2 year product or manufacturing development experience
* Adaptable, passionate and creatively minded
* MRP/ERP Proficiency

As a Development Engineer you will be expected to demonstrate sound health and safety practices, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day-to-day basis.
