CSCS Civils Ganger

Teamforce are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Ganger with troughing experience to lead a team on ongoing works in York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering key infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

Role Overview
As a Civils Ganger, you will be responsible for supervising a small team on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. A strong background in troughing installation is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate a team of operatives on site
Oversee installation of troughing routes, including excavation, laying, and reinstatement
Ensure all works are completed in line with project specifications and deadlines
Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other trades
Complete daily reports and assist with planning of worksRequirements
Proven experience as a Civils Ganger or Supervisor
Strong experience in troughing installation (essential)
Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)
SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)
Good leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
