Job Title: Production Technician

Salary: £13 to £14 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
* Friday: 07:00 – 12:30
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a hands-on Production Technician to join our team in Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical skills and a good eye for detail to work in a friendly, fast-paced production environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent role with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform soldering tasks with precision and care
* Crimp and strip wires to required specifications
* Accurately read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
* Use a variety of hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
* Follow technical instructions and assembly procedures
* Work as part of a collaborative production team
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Input data and navigate systems with a good level of IT literacy
Requirements:
* Previous experience in soldering and wire assembly
* Ability to read and understand technical diagrams
* Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Basic IT skills for data entry or system use
* A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
Desirable (Not Essential):
* GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
