HGV Technician – West Thurrock
Salary: £23.37 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shifts: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 / 08:00 – 17:00
Overtime:

Saturday: x1.5 (£35.06ph)
Sunday & Bank Holidays: x2 (£46.74ph)
Top OTE: £60,155.68 (based on 5 hours overtime per week)About the Role We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our West Thurrock team. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse fleet of HGVs, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Complete all job cards and documentation accurately
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Work effectively both independently and as part of a teamRequirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
