Key responsibilities of this role:
Dipper - to work closely with pasting departments on day-to-day workload and organise the order of braze for the day under the direction of the Workshop manager.
To jig up all work for the oven.
To work in the washroom, pre and post cleaning parts.
To inspect brazed work in preparation for hardening or packing work to send out to customers.
To clean the salt bath at regular intervals and to record this action has been taken.
To take salt samples at regular intervals, as required and directed by Workshop Manager.
To check chemicals as required.
To check jigs and report any damage to the Workshop Manager and then repair as appropriate.
To undertake any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Workshop Manager.
General Responsibilities:
General cleaning and maintenance of work area.
Checking equipment.
Follow all safe working practices.
Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed.

PLEASE NOTE: This role can be physical and will involve some lifting and carrying, as well as high temperatures.
