Immediate Start – Temp to Perm
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a pipework supply company based in Basingstoke. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, where you will initially work for 12 weeks with the potential to secure a permanent position based on your performance.
Role Details
Starting pay: £12.80 per hour
Pay increase after 13 weeks
Overtime rate: £19.20 per hour (after 40 hours)
Monday to Friday (5 shifts per week)
Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
Cutting pipes to required sizes (full training provided)
Delivering a range of products to customers across the South, Southeast, and London
Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships
Following assigned delivery routes
Ensuring the vehicle is safe and well-maintained
Requirements
Full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points)
