How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Digital Marketing Manager

    North Yorkshire (Richmond area) | Up to £50,000

    Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a growing retail business to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager-a key role focused on driving online performance and commercial growth.

    With the website acting as a major revenue channel, this position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of digital strategy and execution. You'll play a critical role in optimising performance across all digital touchpoints, ensuring activity is data-led, effective, and delivers measurable return on investment.

    The Role

    This is a commercially focused position suited to someone who thrives on performance, data, and continuous improvement. You'll lead digital activity across web, email, social and paid channels-translating insight into action to drive growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy aligned to wider business goals
    Monitor and report on performance across all channels (daily, weekly, monthly)
    Manage and optimise digital budgets to maximise ROI
    Drive website performance, improving conversion rate, AOV and checkout completion (in partnership with E-Commerce)
    Lead paid media activity across search and social, ensuring strong ROAS
    Oversee social media content (organic and paid), collaborating with design and marketing teams
    Manage and optimise email campaigns to drive engagement and revenue
    Work with external partners (including Shopify and SEO agencies) to deliver against objectives
    Implement efficient processes to improve campaign delivery and performance
    Lead, develop and motivate the digital marketing team
    Keep ahead of digital trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and automation
    Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy

    About You

    Strong experience managing paid media campaigns and budgets
    Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
    Solid understanding of e-commerce and website optimisation
