These schools serve diverse communities and are committed to providing high-quality education within safe, structured, and supportive environments. They are looking for individuals who can step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher and ensure that learning continues in a calm, purposeful, and well-managed setting.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is a vital one within any school. You will be responsible for supervising whole classes, delivering pre-set work, managing behaviour, and ensuring that students remain on task. This is not a teaching role, but it requires confidence, strong communication skills, and a high level of responsibility.
We are looking for individuals who can build positive relationships with students, maintain high expectations, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and engaged.
This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers or education professionals to gain invaluable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or other roles within education.
Ideally you will be a graduate, or have experience working with young people, and is essential you have the confidence, resilience, and interpersonal skills to manage a classroom effectively and make a positive impact.
This position will begin via Blue Skies Education as an agency worker, with both flexible daily work and long-term placements available. Many of these opportunities can lead to permanent roles within schools for the right candidates.
