Overview
Our client, a reputable forklift manufacturer are seeking a skilled Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using various power and hand tools. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
Duties

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Follow all health and safety regulations while working on-site.Expectation

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a similar role preferred.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting, with a focus on maintaining proper lifting techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn new skills as required.Required

Minimum 2 years’ experience as an LCV Technician.
NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair
