Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable Main Dealership located in Yeovil, is urgently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their Service department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician eager to advance their career within a well-established and stable workshop environment.

The position offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000 with an OTE of approximately £38,000, alongside comprehensive Main Dealer training and clear progression pathways.

This position is ideal for Vehicle Technicians residing in or near Yeovil who are committed to delivering high standards of vehicle servicing and repairs. The successful Vehicle Technician will be integral to maintaining the dealership’s reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
1-in-4 Saturdays as overtime

Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings to customers
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards
Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop
Assist junior staff where necessary
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptlyRequirements as a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a Main Dealership or Independent Garage
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude towards work
A team player with excellent communication skills
