How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As a Security Engineer, you will play an essential role in delivering first class security installations and support services. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining CCTV, access control, and associated security systems across various client sites.

    Working closely with colleagues from engineering and sales, you will ensure our customers receive reliable, high quality solutions and exceptional service.

    About the RoleSystem Installation:

    •Install CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, door hardware, mechanical/electrical locking systems, and automatic doors across multiple client environments.

    Configuration & Testing:

    •Configure systems, perform functional testing, and ensure all installations operate to the highest standards.

    Troubleshooting & Fault Resolution:

    •Diagnose faults and carry out effective corrective actions to restore system functionality.

    Maintenance & Support:

    •Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing technical support to maximise system uptime and reliability.

    Collaboration:

    •Work alongside sales and engineering teams to provide technical insight and ensure effective project delivery.

    Project Coordination:

    •Manage day to day tasks across multiple sites, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality expectations.

    Customer Service:

    •Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and a customer focused approach.

    Compliance:

    •Ensure all installations follow industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and health & safety regulations.

    Requirements

    •Strong technical experience with CCTV and access control systems

    •Understanding of industry standards and best practices

    •Excellent communication and problem solving abilities

    •Valid driver’s licence

    •Willingness to travel across the region

    •ECS certification
